Shop Sales Terms

These Terms of Sale govern the purchase of Joii evaluation pads (“Products”) from our website at https://joiicare.com. They are between you (the customer) and Joii UK Limited (“Joii”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13513353, registered office 8 Beauvale, Ferdinand Street, London, NW1 8EY. Please read them before placing an order; by placing an order you agree to them. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
Products and descriptions
We take care to describe the Products accurately. Images and packaging are illustrative and there may be minor variations. The evaluation pad is part of the Joii system described in our Terms & Conditions; how the pad and app work, and the medical disclaimer, are set out there.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown at the point of order in pounds sterling. Our evaluation pads are women's sanitary products and are zero-rated for VAT in the UK, so no UK VAT is added to the price. For international orders, local taxes, customs duties or import charges may apply on delivery and are your responsibility (see Delivery). Delivery charges are shown separately before you complete your order. Payment is taken at checkout through our payment provider (Shopify). We may correct obvious pricing errors; if a price is clearly wrong we will contact you before processing your order.
Orders
Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation / dispatch confirmation. If we cannot fulfil an order (for example, the Product is unavailable), we will let you know and will not charge you, or will refund you if already charged.
Delivery
We deliver evaluation pads within the UK and to the international destinations available at checkout. The countries we can ship to are shown during the checkout process; if your country is not listed, we are not currently able to deliver there.
Estimated delivery times are indicative and not guaranteed, and international deliveries may take longer. Risk in the Products passes to you on delivery.
For international orders, any import duties, taxes or customs charges are your responsibility and are payable in addition to the price and delivery charges. These are determined by the destination country, not by us.
Please note: while we ship the evaluation pads internationally, the Joii app is currently available only in the United Kingdom and Ireland. If you are ordering pads from elsewhere, the app may not yet be available in your country.
Cancellation and returns
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, UK consumers normally have 14 days to cancel an online order. However, the Products are sealed goods supplied for health-protection and hygiene reasons. This means:
You may return Products that are unopened and with the seal intact within 14 days of receiving them for a refund.
Once the seal has been broken, the Products cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons, because they are sealed hygiene products — except where the Products are faulty (see Faulty products below).
To exercise a cancellation right, contact us at hello@joiicare.com before returning anything. This does not affect your legal rights in relation to faulty Products.
Faulty products
If a Product is faulty, not as described, or not of satisfactory quality, you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which may include a repair, replacement or refund. These rights are not affected by the returns position above. Please contact us at hello@joiicare.com with details and we will put it right.
Refunds
Where you are entitled to a refund, we will refund using the original payment method, normally within 14 days of receiving the returned Products or of you notifying us of a valid cancellation. Refunds are processed through our payment provider.
Our liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, and for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms of Sale affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Subject to the above, and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss that was not reasonably foreseeable at the time you placed your order, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our liability for the Products is otherwise as set out in our Terms & Conditions, and the two documents should be read together.
Governing law
These Terms of Sale are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may have additional rights under your local law that this does not remove.
